P - 6 Home Reading

We are happy to share that our P-6 students will be starting Home Reading again soon. You will receive notification from relevant Learning Communities when Home Reading has begun for your child's year level. 

After reaching a milestone of a specific number of nights, students will receive a certificate. At milestones 10, 25, 40, 50, 65, 80, and 100 nights of reading at home, students will get recognition. Teachers will check during the week and present when their class has time to celebrate, even if it isn't the exact night they complete the milestone. 

Home Reading can help to build concentration, improve memory, teach about the world, expand vocabulary, boost critical thinking and support better performance at school. 

We look forward to celebrating Home Reading with our students across P-6.
