School Saving Bonus -Update

The School Saving Bonus (SSB) has seen a large uptake of parents using the Parent Portal to support their children with uniforms, texts and excursions.  In all, the program is a huge success, although wait times for queries with the Department of Education are taking longer than expected. 

Thank you to those parents who have begun to make allocations on the portal. Our current suppliers are: Campion Education; Workwear Connect; State Schools Relief; Edrolo, Intersport Bennett's and School Activities (for use for camps and excursions and /or Instrumental Music).

The process for redeeming School Bonus Savings vouchers is different for Bennett’s Intersport. Please follow the steps below to do this:

Step 1: In the School Saving Bonus Portal (SSB) allocate an amount to ‘Student Activities’ (this is an overnight process and can take up to 2 days for completion). Please see instructions on how to use the SSB Portal attached at at this link https://www.kyabramp-12.vic.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/School-Savings-Bonus-Portal-Guide-for-Parents.pdf

Step 2: Email Kyabram P-12 College kyabram.p12@education.vic.gov.au   to advise that you would like to use the allocated SSB funding you have nominated in the portal to be spent at Bennett’s Intersport.  Please include your Child’s Name, Year Level and amount nominated in the portal.

Step 3: A SSB purchase order will be emailed to you and Bennett’s Intersport with your nominated amount and you will be notified by the College via email when this is ready for use at Bennett’s. If a purchase is made which is over the nominated amount, parents will need to pay the difference to Bennett’s Intersport at the time of purchase.
