Meet Elisa, Year 1 Teacher

Hi everyone!

I’m Elisa, and I’m excited to be joining Clifton Hill Primary School this year as a Year 1 teacher! This is my third year teaching – I previously taught Year 1/2 at William Ruthven Primary School in Reservoir. It’s been great getting to know the school community so far, and I really appreciate how warm and welcoming everyone has been.

Living locally, one of the things I’ve been enjoying about my move is being able to ride my bike to school. I’m hoping to keep this up as much as possible,  but we’ll see how I go in the winter! My two-year-old cat, August, eagerly watches from the window every day for me to return home.

Outside of school, I love to travel. Last year, I was fortunate to travel to Japan with friends, and later this year, I’m looking forward to a holiday to Western Australia and the Northern Territory with my family. I’m a naturally curious person, and love exploring different cultures and places.

Thank you again for making me feel so welcome at CHPS, it has been wonderful getting to know everyone.
