As we reach the end of term, it is worth reflecting on the importance of rest, balance and wellbeing for both children and adults. While school provides wonderful opportunities for learning, growth and connection, maintaining engagement at school also requires time to pause, recharge and recover.
The holiday break offers students a chance to slow down from the routines and demands of school, enjoy quality time with family and friends, and engage in activities that bring them joy. Whether it is playing outside, being creative, reading, helping around the home or simply having time to relax, these experiences all contribute positively to children's wellbeing and development.
When students have opportunities to recharge, they return to school with renewed energy, improved wellbeing and a greater capacity to engage in learning and relationships.
Thank you to our families for your ongoing partnership in supporting the wellbeing and engagement of our students. We wish everyone a safe, happy and restful holiday break and look forward to welcoming our students back for term 3, refreshed and ready to learn.
Warm regards,
Erin, Rosy & Michael
