Resource Centre

It has been a wonderful start to the year welcoming new students to the Resource Centre and welcoming back all members of the College community. 

Years 7, 8 and 9 students have been visiting the Resource Centre in class groups and at recess and lunch times to browse the book and magazine collections and to borrow items that interest them from a wide range of genres and interest areas.

Senior students have been organising their time to study and complete tasks at recess and lunch as well as during their study lessons. It has been great to see them get together for group sessions helping each other across a range of subjects. 

A reminder to all students to return those library books they had borrowed at the end of last year. Reminder notices to return those books have been sent to all students with many of those items returned already and I thank those students who did so in such a prompt manner. A second reminder notice will be emailed next week, after which, invoices will be generated for the replacement costs of any books not returned.
