Year 12

On Thursday, 29 January, our Year 12 students officially kicked off their final year of schooling with a successful Orientation Day at Federation University, Berwick Campus.
Students met on campus and took part in a range of engaging and informative sessions designed to set them up for a strong year ahead. These included careers sessions, study skills workshops, and staying organised sessions, all aimed at supporting students as they begin this important final chapter of their secondary education.
The day also provided a great opportunity for students to connect with peers and staff, enjoy the university environment, and ask questions about pathways beyond school. A highlight for many was the BBQ lunch, which added to the relaxed and positive atmosphere of the day.
To top it all off, Year 12 jackets were distributed, marking a special milestone for an enthusiastic and exciting group of Year 12 students as they step into their leadership year.
Overall, it was a fantastic day, and a fitting start as our Year 12 students commence their final year of school. We look forward to supporting them throughout the year and celebrating their achievements along the way.
Student Spotlight - Liam Puncher

His individual excellence on the mound was recognised with the prestigious Golden Arm Award, presented to the top pitcher of the entire Under 18 tournament. Liam further showcased his elite ability by delivering a dominant performance in a championship final, where he struck out nine batters, a highlight captured in national tournament footage.
