Year 8

Welcome back!

We hope you had a fantastic break and are ready for another year of learning. Now you’re no longer the youngest in the school, and you’ll be facing new challenges and opportunities. The Year 8 team are excited to be on this journey with you.

This year, the Hub for year 8 students is located in D-Block, and the office is open before school, recess, and lunchtime for students to speak to a member of the team and redeem Green chronicles. Homegroup is no longer 10 minutes at 9am every morning but held on a Tuesday period 3 as a lesson. 

We have noticed a minority of students that are bringing items that they think they need, including their laptop. We would like to remind that it is the expectation that students bring all the required materials for class to be as prepared as possible, as these materials must be accessible.

We look forward to our first whole school event, the Swimming Carnival, on the 19 February.
