The Arts and Technologies 

The Art and technologies team has some exciting news to share from over the holidays.

Our year 12 student, Adelina Takacs, has been selected as a member of National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) Teen Council.

NGV Teen Council is a select group of 15–17-year-olds that go behind the scenes to learn about gallery operations across various departments, actively engaging with NGV staff and contributing to NGV teen programs and events. We are very excited for Adelina and look forward to hearing about her experiences on the council. Throughout the year, Adelina will have the opportunity to share upcoming NGV teen programs and opportunities with our school community. 

The Arts and Technologies domain will also be participating in the upcoming Berwick Show at Akoonah Park on Saturday 2 and Sunday 22 February as part of the school showcase. We are planning to exhibit a range of excellent student work in both Art and Technology from current students. Finally, the Art Club will be up and running again from Week 2 this term, with a slight change to the club day. We will now be meeting in Room D05 every Thursday during lunchtime. Students of all year levels are welcomed!
