Homegroup

Over the past couple of weeks, we introduced the new and improved ‘Homegroup’.

Within Homegroup, students have been explicitly taught how to use their planners as a stress-management tool and to organise their digital platforms. This will ensure that students are prepared to learn and set up for success.

In addition, students have been introduced to our school values and the behaviour matrix. These will guide our future lessons.

In the coming weeks, we will begin teaching the Department of Education’s Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships initiative. Here we will teach positive gender relations, emotional literacy, positive coping, stress management and consent education. In addition, this term Years 9 and10 will be visited by Consent Labs to help us to teach them consent education.

All students must bring their laptops, planners, pencil cases and an exercise book to class. Planners can still be purchased from the front office for $10. We will be using these in all classes from Years 7-10.
