News from the PC!
Welcome to all the Preps!!
The PC would like to welcome all the new CJC students and families that started in Prep today.
We are looking for our last 2 convenors for 2026. The role requires includes acting as a liaison between the teacher and the parents/carers’ of children in the class for School related matters (excludes teacher-student/parent related matters). Acting as a representative of the Parent’s Committee to communicate PC activities / fundraising efforts and to provide an avenue for feedback from the class to the PC Leadership. Pass on information to parents/carers as directed by PC Leadership/ Head Convenor and School via class WhatsApp and email lists.

PC meeting: The next PC meeting will be on Friday 20th February at school from 9-10am and online. A great way to get involved, see how events are run and meet other CJC families. These meetings are open to all in the CJC community. Online meeting details will be sent out closer to the date.
Second Hand uniform Shop: The second-hand uniform shop will be open on Wednesday 18th February from 9-10am. The shop is located on the mezzanine level of the front building. EFTPOS payment only.
Friday Treats: Friday Treats are back from today! Pain au chocolat ($4.50) and zooper doopers ($2) will be on sale. See below for when your class is on to sell, a call for volunteers will be made via your class WhatsApp group on your classes’ week. Huge thank you to Pierrick Boyer who is providing the delicious Pain au Chocolats – you can also purchase them and many other delicious treats at Reverie Café - https://www.reveriecafe.com.au.

Child Safety: A reminder that all parents/carer’s who wish to volunteer at CJC must have a Working With Children Check – it is free for volunteers and you can apply online here: https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children
CJC Families Facebook Group: Did you know that we have a CJC Facebook Group called CJC Families? The page is used to inform our community of CJC Events, sell 2nd hand uniforms, find a babysitter and more. The page is private, and you must be a CJC community member and answer the questions to join.
