Year 12 Celebration Day and Graduation Liturgy

Last week our College community gathered to officially farewell the graduating Class of 2023. We reflected and celebrated what our Year 12 cohort has achieved during their journey at Killester College. There were happy tears and lots of laughter as we walked down memory lane.

Cheers to you, Class of 2023... and remember;

You are clever.

You are independent thinkers.

You are thoughtful, compassionate and good.

Ultimately you are people of strength and kindliness.

Thank you for what you have given us, Killester is better for you having been here.

We wish you love and importantly, hope and courage in your journey beyond our gates.

Know your God, and the community of Killester will be with you always.

Congratulations and farewell.

Ms Buick

Principal

Last week, our Class of 2023 formally graduated, surrounded by the loving presence of family, friends and staff.

During graduation liturgy, each homeroom visited the six prayer stations with their St Brigid's lamp. At each station, the students spent time with each other reflecting and practicing gratitude.

We thank everyone involved in making our graduation ceremony a memorable one. It truly takes a village and that's what makes it so special!

We are incredibly proud of you, our Graduates of 2023!

Our College community wishes you strength and courage as you prepare and sit your exams.

God of Wisdom,

We thank you for the knowledge gained and the learning experiences during our students' time here at Killester College.

We come to you this day and ask you to illuminate our students' minds and hearts.

Let your Spirit be with them as they prepare for exams, guiding their studies, and giving them insight so that they can perform to the best of their ability.

Amen
