Congratulations to these students! They will all receive a book of their choice to keep from our special selection set aside for this purpose upon their next classroom library visit from Mrs Way. We love to see our students borrowing and enjoying all the wonderful books that are available!
Lamont Book Fair
Our annual Book Fair is not far away!!
Expected to arrive at school on Friday 16th November there will certainly be a buzz of excitement amongst the students and staff! It will be with us for one week (week 8 of our school term), leaving on the morning of Friday 24th November.
All students will have the opportunity to browse the Book Fair during their library lessons of that week, completing a ‘Wish List’ to take home of any books that they think they would love to have for their own personal collections!
Lamont Books are an Australian family-owned business, that supply quality children’s books, with prices starting at $5.00.
Book Fair will be open for half an hour both before and after school during this time and we’d love to see our families visit and have a look at what is available. With the festive season coming up, books are always a lovely idea for presents and we’re sure that you’ll find ideas that you might not have previously seen in the big stores.
Scholastic Book Club
Thank you to all those families who support us by purchasing books from the Scholastic Book Club. Issue 7 orders were received and distributed early this week. As always, please let us know if there are any errors in your orders, or if the quality of the books do not meet your expectations.
Happy Reading!
