The Lume Excursion

Four words - What A Sensational Day!

500 students, 75 teachers and parent helpers all made an experience come together that will not be forgotten anytime soon.

Not only was this a first for Bimbadeen to have a whole school excursion, it was the first time LUME also enabled an opportunity like this to occur. It was amazing to see the students faces as they fully experienced the visual and audio experience of Indigenous culture, art, and learning. It was such a beautiful celebration that we are pleased our students could experience together!

It has taken a huge amount of organisation to successfully complete such an excursion. It was led perfectly by Sabrina George and the Leadership team. We were so pleased to have also been able to provide this experience at no cost to our families through the use of a special school funding boost and a generous donation from a member of our BHPS community.
