Curriculum & TPPD Day Reminder

We will be having our final student-free day of the year on Friday 24th November - which is a Teacher Professional Practice Day.

Team Kids will be running a full day program on both days for any families requiring childcare. https://www.teamkids.com.au/venues/st-kilda-park-primary-oshc-5/

Year 3/4 Camp

With the warm weather arriving, it is the perfect time for our Year 3/4 classes to head off on school camp on Monday - Wednesday of next week (13th - 15th November).

Our teachers and students are looking forward to this highpoint of the school year and we have 3 days of fun activities planned.

We strongly encourage attendance at school camps as we see first-hand each year the major role that it plays in building confidence and resilience in our students. Facing up to the challenges of being away from home, sharing cabins and completing often-daunting activities is an unrivalled learning experience. School camps are very often the part of school that students look back on with the most fondness.

We ask that Year 3/4 families promptly return all paperwork and make payment for camp via Compass.

Any families with questions or who may need financial support are asked to contact Neil on neil.scott@education.vic.gov.au

Dads Camp

Bookings have now closed for Dads' Camp 2023 and this is now less than a month away, on the weekend of the 1st - 3rd December.

Camp organisers will make contact with families directly to confirm all of the details for the weekend.

Please note that the Dad’s Camp  is a private event and not a school event or activity.  The School and School staff have no involvement in, management of, or control over the Camp. School staff will not be in attendance at the Camp.

Given that the Camp is not an official school activity,  School staff  are not in any way   responsible for the supervision of or safety of children attending the Camp.  Parents and carers are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children participating in the Camp.

Mango Fundraiser - orders now closed

Orders have now closed and been placed for our 2023 Mango Fundraiser.

We have requested that the trays of mangoes be delivered to school in the final week of November but we will not receive confirmation for another week or so.

We will communicate exact delivery dates and pick-up arrangements with families directly through Compasstix when we know more.
