Year 3/4

34N & 34T

This term we have been looking at Australian landforms and maps in Year 3 and 4. At the start of the term the students were given a blank map and attempted to identify as many landmarks as possible. This was an eye raising exercise with China occasionally appearing in Northern Queensland and Lancefield sometimes existing in beautiful sub-tropical Northern Territory. Much work to be done we thought!

Well, we would like to announce that progress has been made. Please find attached a checklist of things to find in Australia on a blank map. Are you smarter than a fourth grader?
