Grandparents Day Celebration
On Monday 30th October the Foundation to Year 2 students celebrated Grandparent Day by inviting their special person to come and join in on some fun activities.
It was fabulous seeing so many special people come and join in, students loved sharing their learning with them. There were many smiling faces while families joined in on board games, giant colourings and some messy but fun finger painting. How wonderful to see our school community coming together.
JSC Fundraiser
This Friday (November 3rd) the Junior School Council is holding a fundraiser, Dance Against Dementia.
Students may wear Free Dress and are invited to bring a gold coin donation. A dance party will be held in the Undercover Area (weather permitting) at Recess and Lunch for interested students.
Research shows that dancing can help reduce the onset of dementia and improve cognitive function. It’s especially important for people as young as 30 to incorporate regular dancing into their life. So, don’t wait to start the fight against dementia, let’s start dancing today!

Library News
We have recently purchased the short listed books from the CBCA 2023 short list.
The books are currently on view in the library to be shared with classes.
They will be available for borrowing shortly, so look out for them in your child's library bag.
