Upcoming events and more from the P&F
Our P&F Committee Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28th Nov at 7.30pm in the P&F room (across from the church). All parents and friends of Holy Spirit school, including incoming Prep parents, are warmly invited to come along and hear about our achievements in 2023 and plans for next year.
The following positions have given notice that they will not be continuing in their current roles in 2024:
We are also looking to nominate an Assistant Treasurer and General Members are always welcome. Role descriptions are available from the P&F Secretary by emailing pandf@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au
Many of you have heard about Teacher Presence, a NFP organization established by long-time Holy Spirit staff member Andy McKellar. Many Holy Spirit teachers have signed up to this worthy cause, which encourages families to make a donation to the teacher’s chosen charity in lieu of an end of year gift.
To find out if your teacher has registered, or to make a donation, go to https://www.teacherpresence.org/
This is the final session for 2023! The Second-hand Uniform Shop is held in the P&F room across from the Church/hall. Most items are only $2. We also have pre-loved school bags and new hats for sale.
PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer accepting donations of white tops or grey pants. Please donate grey pants in good condition to your local op shop. White tops that have school branding and cannot be donated can be recycled – please place these in the donation bins in the shopping North Ringwood Shopping Centre car park near the school crossing.
A MASSIVE thank you to the wonderful mums and dads who volunteered to cook and serve sausages last week. The children loved their special treat and we loved seeing their smiling (and sauce-covered) faces!
This event was free for families, to say thank you for all your amazing fundraising in 2023.
On Friday 1st December, the P&F will provide morning tea for our amazing teachers and staff, to say thank you for all their hard work this year. If you would like to volunteer to bring a plate, please sign up using the link below and drop off your contribution at the office between 8.30am and 10.30am on Friday 1 December (please note, this is a pupil-free day.)
Go to https://signup.com/go/SGkWLjg to volunteer to bring a plate of goodies.
