• Prep

  The students have learnt how to count to 10 and were assessed last week.

  This week they are continuing their portfolio piece.

• Grade 1/2

  After learning interesting facts about the Louvre Museum in Paris, the students followed a tutorial to draw the famous Mona Lisa, known as 'La Joconde' in French. Their beautiful drawings will be included in their portfolio pieces.

By the way, did you know that the famous painting was stolen in 1911? You can watch the following video to find out more about this incredible event.

• Grades 2/3 and 3/4

  Our new topic is 'La salle de classe' (the classroom). The students are learning new vocabulary. They are able to ask where an object is and answer by saying 'Here is...'.

• Grades 5/6

The students will present their two songs at assembly next Monday. In class, they are practising their oral skills through role play, pretending they are buying articles in a food shop. I will attach some videos in the next newsletter.

Physical Education

Students from prep to grade 6 have enjoyed badminton clinics learning how to use a badminton and shuttlecock correctly.
