From the Classroom

Grade 4 - Money Matters
In our money unit, Year 4 students worked in pairs to plan a class party, staying within a set budget and following a specific brief. They practised counting coins and notes accurately and made joint decisions about what to include, such as food, drinks, decorations, entertainment and party bags, while carefully ensuring they didn’t overspend. As they searched for the best deals in catalogues and online at Coles, Big W, and Kmart, students learned to compare prices, prioritise needs over wants and make thoughtful financial choices. This hands-on activity encouraged collaboration, problem-solving and critical thinking, helping students become careful, responsible shoppers in a fun and meaningful context.
Display Showcase
We warmly invite all parents and carers to take a walk through our school and enjoy the wonderful displays that have been created by our talented students. Each display is a celebration of their skills, imagination, and hard work. These displays showcase the creativity that fills our classrooms every day, and we are so proud of what our students have achieved. We encourage you to take a moment to explore, admire, and share in the joy of their learning.
