Wellbeing News

Hello Wonderful Parents and Carers,
Â
I hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the little joys that each day brings. Our school is buzzing with energy and positivity! Each week, we see our students growing in confidence, kindness and resilience, and it’s such a privilege to share these moments with them. 🌟
Â
Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships
Â
We are proud to deliver the Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program each week from Foundation through to Grade 6 at MEPS. RRRR is a Department of Education initiative that helps children build the social and emotional skills they need for positive learning, respectful friendships, and strong wellbeing.
Through age-appropriate lessons, students explore topics such as emotional literacy, positive coping, problem solving, resilience, help-seeking, and respectful communication. These lessons are fun, engaging, and designed to help students develop empathy, manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, and navigate challenges in positive ways.
By learning and practising these skills every week, our students are supported to grow into confident, caring, and respectful members of our school community.
Attached is a fact sheet about the RRRR initiative.

Breakfast Club
Â
Remember, Breakfast Club is open for EVERYONE and it happens every Tuesday in the senior building from 8:30am. We do ask kids to tick off on a list as they come in, purely so that we can keep track of numbers.Â
