Year 7 English

This term the Year 7s have been studying "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare. 

Students have enjoyed reading through sections of the play, exploring Early Modern English, and viewing various adaptations of the text. 

Drama based activities, including creating "freeze frames," is one way that students have engaged with the play's characters and themes. 

In coming weeks, students will select one scene from the play and adapt it to suit a modern audience. We look forward to seeing what they come up with!
