Masses For Term 3
Our last Mass for Term 3 will be celebrated on Friday 19 September at 9.30am. Our Infants students ES1 and S1 (Kindergarten, Years 1 and 2) will be reading and taking up the gifts in the offertory procession.
Season of Creation and Biodiversity
Monday 1 September - Saturday 4 October is the Season of Creation. One of this year’s ideas is to create a Garden of Peace linking to the Scripture of the dove carrying an olive branch as a sign of peace. In our school Good Shepherd Garden we have two Olive trees that are growing well. This area is a place of calm and peace in our school. Monday 1 September - Tuesday 30 September is Biodiversity Month, promoting caring for and connecting with nature, a key focus for us here at St Michael’s.
Legends of the Light Shine
Our Legends of the Light Shine Program is a program that runs across our school, led by students in Stage 3. This program focuses on Christian living, recognising and promoting Christian virtues and positive attributes.
This Fortnight’s Legends of the Light Shine Focus
Our new Legends of the Light Shine focus for Weeks 9 and 10 is focused on being ‘honest’ and the importance of being an honest and trustworthy person.
