PROJECT COMPASSION

Projection Compassion season has almost come to an end. A huge thank you to every family of St Aidan’s for their continued generosity and support. Without your help all our initiatives would not have been as successful and most importantly, we would not have been able to raise over $900 so far!

FIRST RECONCILIATION

On Wednesday evening, students from St Aidan’s made their First Reconciliation. It was a very special celebration shared with staff, family and friends.

YEAR SIX VISIT ST LOCAL NURSING HOME

As part of St Aidan’s outreach program, Year 6 students visited the local nursing home a few times over the year. During their visit, students spent time chatting with residents, sharing stories, and playing board games together. It was a valuable opportunity for students to connect with older members of our community, show kindness, and learn through conversation. The visit was enjoyed by both students and residents, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership next  term.

A Stunning Cultural Experience: Sistine Chapel: Revelations

A remarkable new exhibition has arrived in Sydney, offering families a chance to experience Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel like never before. Sistine Chapel: Revelations uses immersive projection, vivid colour, and detailed storytelling to bring the famous ceiling and artworks to life.

Located in a purpose‑built venue near St Mary’s Cathedral, the exhibition lets visitors step inside a full‑scale re‑creation of the chapel’s atmosphere, making it an engaging way for students to explore art, history, and creativity beyond the classroom.

If you’re looking for an inspiring family outing, this is a beautiful opportunity to share one of history’s greatest masterpieces together. For further information please follow the link
