Primary Student Leaders at Halogen Young Leaders Day

On Tuesday 24th April, some of our Student Leaders had the exciting opportunity to attend the Halogen Young Leaders Day at the International Convention Centre (ICC). This inspiring event brought together student leaders from schools across NSW for a day focused on building confidence, leadership skills and a strong sense of purpose.

Throughout the day, students heard from four engaging presenters, each offering a unique perspective on leadership. Disney actress Catherine Laga'aia spoke about self-belief and mindset, encouraging students to have confidence in who they are and the values they stand for. Journalist and author Jess Yates shared personal experiences that highlighted the importance of resilience, perseverance and bouncing back from challenges.

Mental Health Leader Nick Hudson inspired students to think about leadership as a way to make a positive difference, showing how everyday actions can have a big impact on others. Adventurer Jacqui Bell focused on wellbeing and connection, reminding students that great leaders care for themselves and support those around them.

Samuel, Gabby, Duke and Mila represented the school beautifully and returned feeling motivated, empowered, and ready to put their leadership skills into action.
