International Women's Day Breakfast

The Women's Day Breakfast was an amazing experience where we were provided with speeches and food by the James Ruse Agricultural School. We learnt about women inequalities and the hardships they face. Throughout the time in James Ruse, we were inspired to create change and fight for women's rights. Catriona Noble spoke showing her inspiring journey and strength of humans. Overall, it was a great time filled with joy, motivation and creativity. All the leaders enjoyed the time in James Ruse, it inspired our leadership team deeply a and we look forward for another visit.

The woman’s day breakfast was an exceptional experience, teaching many students the importance of woman value and importance. The breakfast started off with a speech from James Ruse principal, who kindly acknowledged everyone at the breakfast. Catriona Noble spoke after, showing her inspiring journey and the strength of humans. The food was delightful, perfectly made. More speeches came. My favourite one was the speech about emojis. Emojis are used everywhere, but until recently, it was only boy emojis. Boys as superheroes, boys as doctors, even boys as zombies! But after significant change, girls were added as well. Emojis show how everyone is united and connected. Everyone was respectful, and kind at the breakfast and it changed our leadership team deeply.
