Welcome Back to all our students, families and staff for 2024. We have had a wonderful start to the year and despite the crazy weather, everyone has settled in quickly.

We had our first campus assembly of the year, ably run by our Campus Captains Neish Lee Fedele and Angus Morgan and we welcomed our new student leaders.

We had a number of introductions to services and activities that students may want to engage with during the year. Thankyou to Jane Williamson from our Well being Team who informed students about the Doctors in Schools program and the Well Being Team. Thank you to Mr Love for his information on the Chess Club and Mr Scanlon for details of the Skittles Club.

Year 9 Hackathon December 2023

The final activities of this wonderful program were held at the end of last term. The students and staff put in lots of time and effort to bring attention to ‘No Room For Racism’ on the Sydenham campus. All activities were directed by student voice. Thank you to Ms Dubois and Ms Van Orsouw for their patience, guidance and enthusiasm over the many weeks of planning and organising. The final part of the project will be a mural to be completed this term.

Farewell Year 10 – Class of 2023

We said ‘goodbye’ to our Year 10 students at the end of their 4 years at junior campus.

After Year 10 exams at the Delahey Campus in November, the Year 10 Formal was well attended and students displayed a wonderful sense of togetherness and friendship.

Thank you to Mrs Martin (9/10 Campus Leader) and Mr Riccobene (B Team) and Mr Stirkul (K Team) for their organisation of the evening.

Year 9 End of semester exams

At Copperfield College, students at Years 9-12 complete exams. All exams are held under VCAA exam conditions and students at the junior campuses experience these conditions from Year 9 onwards. Last December, Year 9 students began their exam journey with their end of semester 2 exams in the gym, with external supervisors.
