This award goes to everyone in Foundation M in recognition of being at school for one month and becoming Scoresby Superstars. Well, done Foundation M!
This award goes to Luke for demonstrating his wonderful listening skills in class this week. He has made a fantastic effort to show whole body listening, being a great role model for his peers. He has also been practising his use of onomatopoeia in his writing, coming up with some great ‘sizzling starts’ for his narrative. Keep up the great work Luke!
This award goes to Heath for showing fantastic listening skills during mini lessons this week. He was then able to go back to his table and work independently. This was particularly noticeable during Inquiry when he drew a detailed picture showing what Scoresby Primary looked like over 100 years ago, and in Writing when he planned an entire narrative. We are so proud of you Heath!
This award goes to Jacob for displaying his HEART value of Excellence. He has been making an amazing effort with his reading both at school and at home. This week in his strategy group Jacob successfully used the 'Somebody, Wanted, But, So, Then' strategy to summarise a fiction text. Keep up the great work, Jacob!

This award goes to Caleb for consistently demonstrating good listening skills and striving for excellence in Mandarin class. It is commendable that he completed every task with high quality. I also appreciate his exceptional organisational skills in looking after his Mandarin book. Well done and keep up your good work Caleb!
This award goes to 5/6S for the support they displayed when a classmate was striving to achieve his personal best in high jump. Congratulations both to Bodhi for succeeding and to 5/6S who demonstrated absolute TEAMWORK when ‘willing’ their mate over the bar. I am so proud of you all!
This award goes to Frank for thoughtful and clever questions he asked during his Science lesson this week on the human body. Frank showed wonderful engagement in the topic of ‘System of the Human Body’ and made connections between what he already knew and what he was learning. Great job Frank, keep it up!
