Introducing ACA – People Outdoors: Camps for People Living with Disability ‘Adventure For All’ - People Outdoors, a program of the Australian Camps Association, was established in 1989 to provide outdoor recreation for people of all ages living with disability. Our programs include two-night weekend through to four-day residential camps held during the school holidays. Our participants are looked after by our team of disability support workers for the duration of camp. City of Greater Dandenong: Exciting Youth Programs: FReeZA Committee and Holiday Activities Committee

We’re excited to share two exciting youth programs aimed at engaging and empowering young people in the City of Greater Dandenong.

  1. FReeZA Committee
  • When: Every Thursday during school terms
  • Time: 4.30pm - 6.30pm
  • Ages: 12-25 years
  • Cost: Free

FReeZA encourages young people to get involved in their community by planning and delivering free music and cultural events that are drug, smoke and alcohol free. It serves as a platform for young people to cultivate leadership skills, gain confidence, and contribute positively to their communities through volunteering. No prior experience necessary.

  1. The Holiday Activities Committee (HAC)
  • When: Starting Tuesday 5 March, for four weeks during the school terms
  • Time: 4.30pm - 6.30pm
  • Ages: 12-16 years
  • Cost: Free

HAC is a four-week introductory leadership program where participants can co-design activities for our School Holiday Program, while developing leadership skills, building confidence, and forging new friendships. No prior experience necessary.
