Swimming Carnival

Last Tuesday 27th February, everyone enjoyed our annual swimming carnival. It was a warm day and lots of students dressed in their house colours.  Our Year 12 students had some very creative costumes.  Thanks to the VCE VM students and helpers for the fabulous BBQ, cool drinks and sweet treats.  Well done to Bogong house for winning on the day.

Year 12 Ace your exams

Year 12 had an Elevate session called Ace your exams - this was about effective study skills in the preparation of assessments and exams.  Included also in this session was VCE requirements, attendance and upcoming events. Year 10 and Year 11 students also had assemblies this week at Forge Theatre.  Year 11 assembly included information about expectations, attendance, VCE Administration, Kokoda scholarship application and Formal.  There was also a police talk regarding Consent and Social media from Brooke.

Deakin University visit

An informative session was held in the LRC last week - a representative from Deakin talked about different courses and campuses.

Whole School Assembly

On Monday we held the first Whole school Assembly in 5 years. For most of the students this was their first experience of an assembly like this.  It was great to see the entire school in one place together and we look forward to holding more whole school assemblies in the near future.
