Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where students wellbeing and mental health are our top priorities. We encourage both parents and students to reach out early if there are any concerns so that we can offer timely interventions. Please be assured that counselling sessions are strictly confidential unless safety risks are identified. Parents can contact our Learning and Wellbeing Leaders to discuss concerns and initiate referrals.
For students, your first point of contact is your teachers and the relevant Learning and Wellbeing Leaders. Students can also self-refer for wellbeing support using our student referral form Click Here. The referral forms are also accessible through the wellbeing office, which is open to all students. A member of the wellbeing staff will get in touch with you as soon as possible to schedule a session.
The Wellbeing Team is placing a significant emphasis on enhancing mental health literacy throughout the school community. The focus is to raise awareness and understanding of mental health, our aim is to foster a supportive environment where students feel empowered to prioritise their wellbeing. We encourage parents to have conversations and engage with what their children are experiencing/ learning at school, as this insight enables you to continue the support at home. By tuning into school activities and conversations, parents can better understand the challenges your children may face and offer appropriate assistance. To facilitate this partnership, relevant information regarding mental health resources and initiatives will be regularly communicated through our Compass platform and newsletters. Together, let's create a culture of holistic wellbeing where every student feels valued and supported. Watch this space for updates on our journey towards mental health awareness and resilience.
