Pope Francis' message calls us to be missionaries of Hope, strengthening global solidarity in response to growing humanitarian challenges. As missionary people, we walk alongside communities sharing in their joys, struggles and aspirations. Pope Francis emphasises the vital role of missionaries in fostering trust and unity, reminding us that our mission is about inspiring meaningful change and empowering people.
October is a special time when we come together to celebrate the Church’s global mission and the wonderful work of missionaries who support children and communities in need.

As part of our school’s commitment to helping others, we will be celebrating Socktober on Tuesday, 28th October. On this day, students are invited to wear brightly coloured or fun socks and bring along a gold coin donation.
Socktober is a joyful way for our students to express creativity while making a real difference in the lives of others. All funds raised will go directly to Catholic Missions, supporting vital projects that bring hope and opportunity to communities around the world. Together, through kindness and generosity, we can help make the world a brighter place for everyone.
As part of their ongoing faith learning and spiritual development, the children will attend Mass throughout the term. Mass is celebrated each Tuesday at 9:15am in the church, providing time for prayer, reflection, and connection with our parish community.
This Tuesday, the 28th of October, 3/4BP, 3/4SH and 5/6MC will be attending Mass. We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us in this special occasion.
As a Catholic faith community, we invite our school community to come together for a special Memorial Celebration in honour of Valentino and George, who sadly passed away during the holidays.
This will be a time for us to remember their lives, give thanks for the love and joy they brought to others, and offer our prayers and support to their families. We will gather in the school hall on Thursday, 30th October at 9:00am for this special occasion of reflection, remembrance, and hope.
God bless and have a great week.
