New Senior Leadership Team Appointments

Clayfield College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Natasha Podoliak as Director of Senior School and Mr Andrew Hines, CPA, as Director of Corporate Services, both commencing in January 2026.
Together, Natasha and Andrew bring extensive leadership experience and a shared commitment to excellence, future-focused learning and community - qualities that will further enhance Clayfield’s Senior Leadership Team and the College’s vision for the future.
With more than 25 years of experience across Senior School leadership, curriculum design, experiential learning and pastoral care, Natasha joins Clayfield from St John’s Anglican College, where she has served as the inaugural Head of Senior School. Prior to that, she was at Brisbane Boys’ College from 1996 to 2015, where she led the strategic transformation of the Middle School.
During her time at St John’s, Natasha led the development of a contemporary Senior School identity grounded in strong culture, genuine care and compassion, and community connection. Her expertise spans academic pathways, evidence-informed practice and wellbeing frameworks. She believes that experiential learning is essential in strengthening student wellbeing and preparing students for life beyond school.
A passionate and values-driven leader, Natasha’s vision aligns closely with Clayfield’s motto ‘Let your light shine’ and the College’s Strategic Intent 2023 – 2027. She is committed to ensuring every student experiences a personalised and purposeful journey through their final years of schooling, enhancing student agency, leadership and belonging.
Andrew joins Clayfield College as Director of Corporate Services, bringing more than 30 years of senior financial and corporate leadership experience across education, sport and finance.
Andrew’s role as Business Manager and Company Secretary at Lourdes Hill College since 2011 saw him lead major financial and strategic initiatives, including long-term scenario planning and capital development. His earlier leadership roles at UQ Sport and Suncorp have provided him with a deep understanding of governance, strategic planning and the operational needs of large, dynamic organisations.
He is widely respected for his collaborative approach, his capacity to empower multi-disciplinary teams, and his commitment to fostering cultures of service and excellence. Andrew shared that he is particularly inspired by Clayfield’s vision to be a thriving co-educational day and boarding school grounded in connection, excellence and purpose.
Principal Dr Andrew Cousins said these appointments represent an important milestone in enhancing Clayfield’s leadership and capacity for growth.
“Natasha and Andrew bring exceptional expertise and a shared passion for excellence, future-focused learning and community,” Dr Cousins said. “Together with our new Director of Junior School, Mr Damien Marshall, their leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of Clayfield’s story.”
The appointment of Natasha, Andrew and Damien completes the Senior Leadership Team for 2026. We look forward to warmly welcoming them to our Clayfield community in January 2026.
