WHOLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

SFS AFTER SCHOOL WOOLWORTHIS CRICKET BLAST PROGRAM

Our after-school cricket clinics will continue next week. The dates of the remaining clinics are:

Week 5: Wednesday November 5th

Week 6 Wednesday November 12th

Parents are most welcome to attend but will need to be at school to pick up their child by 4.15 pm unless your child is going to After School Care. We can organise students to be dropped off there after the clinics. The pedestrian gate near the Hall will be open for parents so you can enter the school grounds and head straight over to the oval. Please use this gate when leaving the cricket program also.

TERM 4 SWIMMING

A reminder to parents that students will have a break from swimming next week as there will be no school on Monday and Tuesday.

SENIOR PROGRAMS

GRADE 5 BIKE EDUCATION – CYCLING SKILLS AND SIMULATIONS

Grade 5 students will begin their Bike Education Program next week on Friday. They will remain on school grounds completing cycling skills and simulations.

Students will need to bring their bikes and helmets to school on Friday November 7th. We remind students that if they are riding to school they will need to dismount their bikes and walk on school grounds. Bicycles and helmets can be left outside the students’ Learning Space. If parents are dropping off bicycles at school, they can remain in the Bike Shed for the duration of the program.

JUNIOR PROGRAMS

We have once again been lucky enough to receive a Sporting Schools Grant funded by the Australian Government. As a result, our Junior students will be involved in gymnastics clinics run by Luke who is the Director and Head Coach for Melbourne Tumbling Academy.

The clinics will begin in December and parents will receive further information as we get closer.
