Meet the Head of Year 12, Sophie McQueen

Welcome back! My Name is Sophie McQueen, and I am thrilled to be the Head of Year 12 for 2024.

I hope you enjoyed the Christmas break, and that you and your child are feeling refreshed and ready to take on the final year of their secondary education. Over the break, I was fortunate to have spent some time camping with my family and brushing up on my Italian skills in preparation for the year ahead.

In 2024,  we have plenty of interesting and exciting opportunities on the horizon:

  •  Elevate Study Skills
  •  Year 12 Retreat
  •  St Mary's Day
  • Year 12 Celebration Dinner
  • Year 12 Graduation Mass
  • Sports Carnivals
  • And some exams...!

As always, the Teachers, Pastoral Mentors, and I are all here to support your child on their journey to ensure they are successful in their chosen pathway. We encourage  students to be extra resilient and persistent this year, and ask that they contribute their very best efforts to ensure they leave our College with a sense of pride in what they have achieved over the past six years.

I look forward to working with the Year 12 cohort, let's make this the best year yet!

We are the class of 2024, this year is our year!

Kind regards,

Sophie McQueen
