School Captains 2024

Hi there, I’m Mackenzie, I’m one of the 2024 School Captains! I am excited to be chosen as one of the school captains and look forward to getting to know everyone in the school. I can’t wait to work with the other captains, running the assemblies, organising events and making Vermont Primary School an even better place. I like athletics, soccer, dancing, drawing and talking with my friends. If you see me in the yard, come and say hi! Let’s hope that this year will be a fun year! 

Hi! My name is Jed and I'm one of your School Captains for 2024. I am a very attentive listener that listens to other people’s ideas and opinions. My hobbies are reading, listening to music and playing games. I enjoy computer games, playing outside and spending time with my friends. I look forward to working with the school this year, the relay at House Athletics, running assemblies and being a good role model for others. 

Cantley House Captains 2024

Hi! My name is Careena and I’m delighted to be one of your Cantley House Captains for 2024. I enjoy reading mystery, fantasy, historical fiction, and non-fiction books. My top games are Roblox and Animal Crossing New Horizons, along with Minecraft. I like to either make handmade displays, read, draw, or game in my free time. My latest handmade display is the Sakura Densya book nook! My favourite sports are basketball, netball and cycling. Cookies and cream ice cream, matcha tea and sushi are also my absolute favourite foods. I love anything Sanrio themed and adore hedgehogs and Samoyeds. As a captain this year, I’m looking forward to introducing new clubs that caters the interest of all students! Here’s to having a fabulous year in year six!

Hi, my name is Neal, and I will be your Cantley House Captain for 2024. I am really looking forward to working with everyone in this school, and having more fun events this year. I like to think that everybody is important in this school, from the youngest Foundation student to the oldest Grade 6 student. Some of my hobbies are tennis, maths, soccer and drawing. My favourite foods are burgers, sandwiches, jelly, chicken wings and pickles. Most of the time I will be on the little oval, so if you need any help, I will help if I can. I am kind and extremely funny. I hope we can make this one of the best years at Vermont Primary School, the most exciting and the most entertaining. 

Canterbury House Captains 2024

Hello, I'm Dylan, your 2024 Canterbury Captain! I can't wait to dive into this final year of primary school and make it awesome as your Captain, especially looking forward to cool stuff like flag raising and the epic Leaders Day. When I'm chilling, I'm either tackling my Chinese homework or sipping my favourite Mandarin soft drink from Beijing—Arctic Ocean. Oh, and I love cracking up to Uncle Roger's videos on YouTube. Let's rock this year together and make it one for the books! 

I'm Soumily! I am thrilled to be the 2024 Canterbury House Captain and I’m looking forward to starting the new year with a bang. The things I’m looking forward to as a Captain is putting up the flags and the upcoming GRIP conference. Dancing , hanging out with friends, and shopping are my favourite hobbies. Also, I have a younger brother who will be starting grade one this year. I am excited to see what this year has in store for us.  

Terrara House Captains 2024

Hi, my name is Annabelle, and I am your Terrara House Captain for 2024. I love to play tennis, netball or any other sport that involves throwing or running. I like the subject Maths and Inquiry, but I really enjoy reading books. Once I start reading, it's hard to stop me. I have a pet dog called Snowy who is 15 years old now. I'm excited to work with the students and teachers to contribute to Vermont Primary School. Feel free to approach me if you see me during recess or lunchtime. Lastly, GO TERRARA!

My name is Jeremy and I am one of the Terrara House captains for 2024. I am proud and lucky to be in Terrara House because the colour green is also my favourite colour. I like Maths subject the most. I also enjoy Science and sports because I think they are fun and interesting. I love playing tennis and competing in a weekend competition. This Australian Open, I was lucky enough to watch my favourite player, Alexander Zverev, play in person. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games and watching sports related videos. I look forward to making students more active and seeing them enjoy playing with their friends in the schoolyard.

Nurlendi House Captains 2024

My name is Anika and I will be your Nurlendi House Captain for 2024. My favourite hobbies are swimming, karate and running. I love swimming for the Nuna squad because I have many friends and it's really fun. Karate has been one of my favourite things to do ever since Prep. Running always keeps my body warmed up and ready to go for the rest of the day. I also enjoy playing the piano. I am so excited to be your Nurlendi House Captain because I love learning things, coming up with ideas and facing challenges. I am really looking forward to everything yet to come in 2024!

Hello, My name is Wesley and I am very proud to be one of Vermont Primary Schools 2024 Nurlendi House Captains. My hobbies are probably everything in life, but I enjoy Swimming and Tennis more seriously, as I compete in many competitions. I also love reading books. My favourite book series is Wings Of Fire. I am looking forward to working with the other captains and teachers at Vermont Primary this year, helping improve our school in many ways and helping out in assembly. Even though the year has only started, I have a huge feeling that this is going to be a year to remember for me.
