From the Principal

Week 1 Term 1 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the 2024 school year!!!  What a wonderful start we have had to the Term.  We welcome all the returning families back to St Bede's as well as those families joining us this year for the first time. I hope 2024 is a year full of learning opportunities that challenge us to be the best learners we can be. Lets see how far we can push ourselves this year to be the best we can be.

At St Bedes we  believe it is important to be  Repectful, Resilient and Safe

The children are remindered of this regularly. When the opportunity arises I ask that you also remind your child/ren.

Preps First Day

Student Supervision

A reminder to our community that the school gates do not open until 8.25am ( when supervision commences).  Classrooms will open at 8.30am I ask that no children are here before this time as staff are  preparing for the day. If you need supervision in the morning the school does provide before and after school care. ( Camp Australia)

Parent communication

Class email lists are currently being prepared. This can only be done after MACS has finalised arrangements centrally.

Parents will receive information from teachers via this form of communication.

There is also a "parent" group email.  This is how the newsletter and other whole school information is sent out to parents.  If you  receive the newsletter and are aware someone else hasn't received it can you please let them know to contact the office to ensure their name is added.  The email addresses are all taken from our admin system so if your email address does change during the year please let the office staff know.

Have a great week
