Reflection 

As we begin a new school year, we want to be friends with each other and with God. Our scripture focus reminds us how our faith calls us to live our daily lives being kind and compassionate to each other. If we able to fulfil this call, which can sometimes be challenging, we will be the face of Christ for those we meet.

'Be kind and compassionate to one another,

forgiving each other,

just as in Christ God forgave you'

Ephesians 4:32

Loving God, you give us this new school year and new friends with whom to share it. 

Bless all who pray and work and learn together.

May this year bring peace and harmony throughout the world.

We ask this through Christ our Lord,

Amen.
