Learning Community

Senior School

What a great start to 2024! It has been busy, but we are settling in well and ready for a great year in the Senior Community.

We've had an exciting start to the term with a visit from the police for an incursion on cyber safety. It was a great opportunity for us to learn about staying safe online and how to protect ourselves from potential risks. Remember to always think before you click and to report any concerning behaviour to a trusted adult.

In other news, interschool sports practice is in full swing! Everyone has been making sure they are listening to their coaches, to work hard, and to support their teammates. We are all about school pride, and trying our best!

As senior students, it's important to set a good example for the rest of the school. Take the time to reach out and make new friends, especially with younger students who may look up to you as leaders. Small acts of kindness can go a long way in creating a welcoming and inclusive school community.

Speaking of leadership, our school leaders are settling into their roles as the leaders of the school. Whether it's helping with assemblies, organising school events, or being a mentor to younger students, their effort is appreciated.

We can see that this year is going to be a lot of fun, great learning opportunities and lasting memories.
