Message from the

Principal

Dear Families,

On Friday, our staff will come together for a Pastoral Wellbeing Day, where we will concentrate on reinforcing our commitment to student wellbeing, evaluating evidence-based routines and practices, and ensuring that we remain vigilant in our compliance with safeguarding requirements.

During this day, we will dedicate a significant portion of our time to reviewing the 11 Child Safe Standards, focusing particularly on embedding these standards into our daily practices. Additionally, we will engage in an in-depth exploration of the Behaviour Curriculum, which plays a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and safe learning environment for our students. We greatly appreciate your continued support and collaboration to enhance our knowledge in these important areas.

We are currently in the midst of our First Eucharist and Confirmation Liturgies. A heartfelt congratulations goes out to the children and their families who celebrated their Sacraments last weekend. This is a special and transformative time for each of you, and we congratulate you for this significant milestone in your faith journey. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Fr Jake for his efforts in making our liturgies so personal and meaningful for our students.

Thank you for the time and the patience   you showed teaching some of our younger students how to play 2 Touch during break times.  You have shown both leadership and kindness.   Thank you

Does this lovely scooter belong to you!

If it is yours, it is waiting for you in Mrs Tegg's office.

School Hours

Please note that the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many children on the grounds prior to this time and there is no teacher on duty.

For the safety of your children, I ask that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30am.

Mobile Phone and Smartwatch Reminder

A reminder to families that all ‘smart’ devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, must be handed to teachers first thing in the morning when students arrive at school. These devices are then securely stored for the duration of the school day and returned to students at dismissal time.

This practice supports a focused learning environment and aligns with our school and diocesan policies. We appreciate your ongoing support in reinforcing this expectation with your children.
