Congratulation to our students who celebrated the Sacrament of First Reconcilaiton last Wednesday evening. It was a very special time for our young people and their families. We are very grateful to Fr.Trung SJ for leading us in prayer.
God our loving Father,
We come together today to celebrate God’s love and forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. May we always be confident of your never-ending love for us. May we always know that your arms are always open to us.
Help us to be loving and forgiving just like you.
We ask this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Semester One Reports
As we move towards the end of Semester 1, our teachers are currently preparing student achievement reports. These reports provide families with a snapshot of each child’s learning progress, growth and achievements across the semester.
Teachers carefully consider a range of assessment data, classroom observations and student work samples to ensure reports reflect each student’s individual learning journey. We thank our staff for the time, care and professionalism they bring to this important process.
Semester 1 reports will be made available to families in week 10.
Buddy Program
At Trinity Catholic School, our Buddy Program is an important part of nurturing a welcoming, inclusive and faith-filled community. Through shared activities, prayer, play and learning experiences, our older and younger students build meaningful relationships that help every child feel known, valued and safe.
Research from the Alannah & Madeline Foundation highlights the importance of positive peer relationships in schools. Their evidence-based Better Buddies framework shows that when students are taught and encouraged to engage in respectful, caring and inclusive relationships, bullying behaviours can decrease and students experience a stronger sense of connection and belonging.
The Foundation notes that buddy programs help younger students feel safe and supported, while older students develop leadership, empathy and responsibility. At Trinity, we see these values come to life each week as our students learn from one another and grow together in confidence and compassion.
As a Catholic school, our Buddy Program also reflects the Gospel values at the heart of our community. We are called to care for one another, to show kindness and respect, and to ensure every person knows they belong. By building strong relationships across year levels, we continue to strengthen our culture of faith, wellbeing and connectedness for all students.

This week, we also acknowledged National Reconciliation Week — a significant time for all Australians to reflect on our shared history and the ongoing journey of healing, respect and unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. As a Catholic school, reconciliation is deeply connected to our faith. Jesus calls us to walk together in peace, to honour the dignity of every person and to build relationships grounded in justice, compassion and understanding.
Thank you for your continued support of our school.
