Year 9 Update

As we approach the end of Term 2, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the girls for a fantastic first Semester. Your enthusiasm and dedication have truly shone through, and we are incredibly proud of every one of you. Semester Two is now upon us, and we are excited to continue the hard work that was put in over the first Semester.

This week marks an exciting event: the English Challenge. Over the past few weeks, students have been diligently preparing their scripts and roles for this challenge. The coming days will be filled with filming and editing their short films, and we are eagerly anticipating the final products of their creativity and collaboration later this week.

I would also like to announce some important changes in our team. As I will be leaving Shelford, Ms Mia Dimitrakopoulos will be stepping into the position of Year Level Coordinator. Ms Dimitrakopoulos brings a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting our students, and I am confident she will continue to foster a positive and enriching environment for the girls. Additionally, Mrs Karen Whelan will take on the role of Wellbeing Mentor. With her extensive background, Mrs Whelan is dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing and success of each student. The girls will be in great hands, and I wish them all the best.

Finally, I want to wish everyone a wonderful and restful holiday. Take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality moments with your loved ones.
