Brentwood Camps and Excursions

Brentwood staff spend a great deal of time planning student camps, excursions, inter-School sport and school-based incursions. School camps and excursions are invaluable experiences that enrich education beyond classroom walls. They foster teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills in a real-world setting, promoting personal growth and self-discovery. They provide hands-on learning opportunities, igniting curiosity and sparking lifelong passions. These adventures often cultivate a deep appreciation for nature and cultural diversity, fostering empathy and global awareness. Through exploration and adventure, students build lasting memories, forge friendships, and develop a sense of belonging to their school community. School camps and excursions nurture holistic development, shaping well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and perspectives necessary to thrive in an interconnected world.

As parents and guardians, we ask that you support school staff by consenting to your child attending camps and excursions in a timely manner. It is always a disappointing outcome when students don’t get an opportunity to participate in these experiences due to issues related to late consent or payment. As a large organisation we need to set due dates at least two days before the events to facilitate planning and preparation for the smooth running of events.

Over the years we have developed a number of reoccurring camps and excursions that have come to be a real highlight for Brentwood students, as I am sure the stories they come home and share with you will attest.

Please find below a snapshot of some of the regular camp and excursion experiences at each year level your child has the opportunity to enjoy.

This list doesn’t include some of the multi year level experiences such as our Music  and Performing Arts Camps, the biennial international tours to Germany and Japan; and our more recent NASA USA tour and Sporting Careers and Pathways tour also in the USA.
