3/4 Classroom News

We would like to begin by welcoming Corey Thomas, who is studying his Bachelor of Education through Swinburne University and is currently completing his Professional Placement with Mrs Haw in 3/4A.
Inquiry
After auiry Focus - Forces and Functions. So far, we've made and experimented with paper planes and discussed the force behind them, while this week was all about experimenting with difference forces.
We have researched and designed a Balloon-Powered Car, which will begin building next week. Students have been reminded to provide any materials required for their cars by Monday next week.
Respectful Relationships
This week's Respectful Relationships focus was on strategies to use for Problem Solving. The students began the the lesson with a game Human Ropes, which they used their teamwork and problem solving skills to untie from.
Mathematics
We have been working on measurement in Maths for the past few weeks, including length and capacity. The students have been measuring and converting lengths in mm, cm and metres as well as mililitres and litres.'
