Welcome Back to Term 3!

We would like to warmly welcome back all our students and families for Term 3! We hope everyone had a restful break and is feeling refreshed for the exciting term ahead. It has been a wonderful start to the term, with students settling back into routines quickly and engaging enthusiastically in their learning. We’re delighted to see the continued energy and curiosity across the school as students dive into new learning opportunities.

This term we have our whole class Occupational Therapy Sessions for Kindergarten which aim to support all students' development, providing targeted activities that build fine and gross motor skills in fun and engaging ways.

Eager for Edgy Kindergarten transition sessions for our 2026 Kindergarten children have continued and it has been wonderful to see so many excited children attend and engage in these sessions. It has also been a great opportunity for some of our student leaders to support in this space.

We would like to remind families about the importance of students bringing a piece of fruit or vegetables each day for Fruit Break. This short, healthy snack time plays a valuable role in supporting students’ concentration, energy levels, and overall wellbeing throughout the morning. Eating fresh fruit or vegetables helps keep young minds alert and ready to learn, especially during those early hours of the school day when focus is so important. Thank you for your ongoing support in promoting healthy choices at school.

Next week, families K-6 will receive the Term 3 Stage Curriculum Overviews via email, which will outline the Key Learning Areas and focus points for the term.

Our Learning and Support Team are working hard to ensure that all students are supported in reaching their full potential. Through targeted programs, classroom support, and collaboration with all stakeholders, the team is focused on meeting the individual learning needs of students across all stages. Whether it's through one-on-one assistance, small group interventions, or in-class strategies, the aim is to create inclusive learning environments where every student feels confident and capable.

Attendance continues to be a focus this term, as regular school attendance is essential for student learning, social development, and overall success. Every day at school provides valuable learning opportunities. We encourage all families to prioritise punctual and consistent attendance, helping children to build strong routines and a sense of belonging in their classrooms.

If your child is unwell or unable to attend school, please ensure you notify the office as soon as possible for each day they are away. Working together, we can support every student to make the most of their time at school and reach their full potential. Thank you for your ongoing support in promoting the importance of being at school, every day.

We look forward to a productive and enjoyable Term 3 together!
