DANCE ROUTINES - STARTING THIS THURSDAY

Students are starting their dances this week! We can’t wait to see their moves as we progress through the term.

CAST REHEARSAL PARENT SUPPORT

Our grade 5 and 6 students are now off script. We encourage parents of children with speaking roles to rehearse their lines as much as possible between rehearsals to give them the best chance of performing to their full potential.

COSTUME UPDATES

Costume information will be sent out to families on the 13th of August. Each student in the school will be required to supply part or all of their costume, depending on their character. We will provide costume boards with photos and information about what you will need to supply and what the school will supply. Please keep an eye out for information via compass and your whatsapp class chats.

About the Show – The Toys

In a world where toys have never existed, one restless kid is determined to make Christmas feel magical. When Deedee Smith and her siblings sneak into a mysterious old building, they accidentally unlock a long-forgotten toy factory… and the secrets it holds. Inside, they discover a colourful cast of toys that were built to bring joy - but have never been played with... until now.

Set to a soundtrack of iconic 90s hits, The Toys is a story about imagination, family, and the importance of play - starring malfunctioning dolls, melodramatic toy robots, boot-scootin’ cowboys and cowgirls, jazz-handed teddy bears and plenty more.

With our Year 5/6 students in speaking roles - and every student from Foundation to Year 6 taking part in a dance number - we can’t wait to bring The Toys to life on stage this October!
