Founders Day Wrap Up

At the end of last term, we enjoyed a wonderful Founders Day where the whole Brigidine community came together for Mass and a plethora of activities from jumping castles to a petting zoo, with pizza and gelato for lunch. The day ended with our own talent show which showcased the incredible talent the girls at Brigidine have to offer - from ice skating to solo musical acts, choreographed rap routines, and student bands. We also cannot forget our teachers' performances. It was impressive to see so many brave and confident students get involved and their talents were outstanding. A huge congratulations to all participants, and especially our winners:

1st Place  -  Klara James (Year 10)

2nd Place - equal Audrey Kawitana (Year 7) and band - Martiya Karagiannis, Ruby Pajor, Jacynta Kennedy and Ava Mitchell (Year 11)

3rd Place - Adriana Galea (Year 9)

Term 3 Overview

It has been lovely to return after the holidays and see students refreshed and rejuvenated for the term despite the challenges with all the rain! As we have begun Term 3, students have worked to set their Term 3 goals and prepare term planners for their tasks. We have already had many activities including Year 7 Mass; Year 9/10 Commerce stalls; a Year 11 presentation from BStreetSmart and Glen Gerreyn; and Paul Dillon (from DARTA- Drug and Alcohol Research and Training) presenting to Years 10 and 11.

We appreciate everything our parents and guardians do to support their daughters in pastoral and academic growth. This ongoing partnership is extremely important.
