Club de Español

Monday 3:45 -4:45

Bingo!!! Yes, it was bingo afternoon at the Spanish Club. It was a session full of fun, delicious snacks and a good chance for everyone to practice their Spanish. The first bingo card was about numbers, the second one about animals and the last one about different types of diches. Every item was called out in Spanish and we were gladly surprised by the parents whom have been learning Spanish on Duolingo and how they didn’t need help to find the items in the bingo card.

On our next session of the Spanish Club, we will be learning how to make sugar alfeñiques for Dia de los Muertos (skulls made of sugar and decorated colourfully)

The Spanish Club is a space open to the whole school community and not just for the Spanish speaking one.

The activities are usually explained in both languages. These are intended to show a little bit about different traditions and games from the Spanish speaking world in an attempt to interconnect with our Australian community.
