Reading is Magic
Book Week is Just Around the Corner ...
Children's Book Week will be held from 16th to 23rd August. This year's celebration marks the 80th anniversary of the event, which is organized by The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA). The theme for 2025 is "Book an Adventure!".
In the lead-up to Book Week, our students will assemble in the hall next Thursday morning for the performance, 'Treasure Hunt' by Perform Education. The performance explores sustainability, the natural environment, and the power of books and reading.
On Monday, 18th August, we will begin the week at OHR with a special Book Week Assembly where the students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character.
