This session will cover key cyber-safety topics and advice on engaging with students. This will be an online meeting on the evening of the 1st September. More details to come in the next week or two.
HEALTHY LUNCHBOXES
We all try and eat as healthily as we can and we all know that sometimes that can be really hard. However, developing healthy eating habits as a family will prepare your children for the rest of their lives and have a big impact on their health in the long term. While the canteen is an option and there are many healthy choices in there, total reliance on a service like this may be more detrimental to your child's health than positive. NSW Health have some great resources to help you in making great lunch box choices which I have added below:
Healthy eating for children – where to start?
There is a lot of information out there about what to feed your family, which can make it difficult to figure out the basics.
Understand the Australian Dietary Guidelines, learn what foods to limit, how to encourage healthy habits, and serving sizes, including how many serves of each food group your child should be eating each day. Click here to download the brochure and teach your child healthy habits for a healthy life.
Click here for information to kick start your child’s healthy eating, including:
- What kinds of foods your family should be eating and how much.
- The three key habits that can help with healthy eating.
- Swapping juice for water in your child's lunchbox and tips to get your child drinking more water.
- Support for your child to live a healthier lifestyle.
A variety of foods = a healthy lunchbox
Here are some ideas to make your child's lunch box come home empty.

ST PATRICK'S TALENT SHOW IS COMING SOON!!
Our Talent showcase will be held on Thursday 11 September at 1.30pm.
More details to come.
Felicity Turner will be connecting in person with our Year 5 and 6 students on 26/08/2025, as part of Olympics Unleashed.
The students will learn from Felicity Turner's Olympic journey how to build resilience, the importance of setting goals and how to find what you are passionate about.
Students will hear firsthand from Felicity Turner about how they overcame challenges to compete in their chosen sport at the very highest level, and how some lessons they’ve learned in sport can help students to be the best they can be – whether that’s in school, at home, on the sporting field or with friends.
We look forward to welcoming Felicity to our school.
Have a great week,
