Subject Information Session - Tuesday 12 August
In Week 4 of Term 3, the College will hold a Subject Information Session from 4:00pm to 5:30pm to assist students in making informed elective subject selections for 2026. All Year 7 and Year 8 students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend the Information Session as it is an important part in the process of ensuring students select the most appropriate elective subjects to study in 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to speak to subject teachers and Heads of Learning. Any Year 9 students that still have questions following the Creating Futures Expo in Term 2 are also welcome to attend.
We look forward to seeing you at the Information Session on Tuesday 12 August.
Online Subject Selections
Online Subject Selections open at 6:00pm on Tuesday 12 August, following the Subject Information Session and close on Friday 15 August.
Students need to pick subjects in order of their preference to study these subjects, their 1st preference should be given to the subject they most want to study.
There are a limited number of places available in Food Technology and Design Technologies - Wood classes, places are allocated based on preference order and order of receipt of online submissions.
The 2026 timetable is created to facilitate the maximum number of students being able to study the elective subjects of their choice, however, if there is insufficient interest in a particular course it may not run in 2026. Students are able to make changes to their electives in 2026 but these changes may be limited due to the timetable and maximum class sizes, so students are strongly encouraged to really think about their subject choices.
